Jennipah is what my relatives call me, their pronunciation of Jennifer; they don't even know my Korean name. I was born in San Francisco (natives are a rare breed) to parents who guilted me into becoming "the first lawyer of the family... [We] came to this country so you could have a good life." Would rather be a writer or trying out for American Idol or teaching kindergarten. After four years of a star-crossed, long distance relationship with the love of my life 3,000 miles away, I finally moved to DC once he proposed. This was my first time living anywhere outside of the SF bay area. I almost got disowned by my parents, but after much drama, they now embrace my decisions. The hubby and I planned a wedding from the other side of the country, have been renovating our house since we moved in, are getting ready for our baby, and we're basically just doing this crazy thing called living life.
